Cutest brother bear. Sorry I haven't updated like I promised. Internet was terrible in osaka, and the rest of the days in Tokyo and kyoto were so intense i concussed every night. Nevertheless I miss Japan already. But I'm not really complaining about korea.

Updates soon xx.

I

Some of my many pictures of disney day 1. Disney land is needless to say, really a happy place. Everything is really beautiful .. Haha lousy description but I don't really know how to describe how I feel. It's like you're so tired but you never want to leave. Parades, rides, shows.

New dream job : disney cast member as a parade dancer haha

Well I think what I really love about Japan is that they are really shameless about what they like. Never too old for cartoons you know ? You see everyone in the crazy hats - almost every kid in costume and adults in a silly hat and loud disney t shirt, plush filled bags , badges, even disney bags. Women running around in matching tutus, couples dressing as couple charcters - families, friends, cliques, they're all matchy matchy. You see an adult woman is carrying a little mermaid backpack you would only come across on a primary school kid back in singapore. They paste glittery things on their cheeks- it's all kind of normal. I love it, I could live here without being judged probably.

Took tons of sky photos but obviously I need to control myself haha.

The flowers that grow here are so pretty .. I look like a freak taking pictures of the mundane by the roadside.

First stop after chugging our luggage at the hotel :

Tsukiji fish market - famous ramen

A most glorious bowl of $8 ramen , very flavorful. BUT: it is a roadside stall so things operate very quickly, you eat with your trays on tables with other people slurping up their noodles so quick. I was so stressed ( Im a slow eater ) I felt like I was in an eating competition. 3 people came and went before Joanne and I finished our meal.

All them wares at tsukiji - if you love seafood please come here - they grill oysters, squids, scallops right here on the spot for you- Theres also a hell load of cheap food in the area - like cheap if you compare it to what you get with singapore.

TAMAGOOOOO~

Japan has a lot of weird convenience stores and departmental stores everywhere and they sell awesome stuff ^ like that.

Fast forward to ueno toy musuem - no pictures but it's a good place to shop for cute stuff - ghibli / Sanrio/ tonkatsu merchandise etc .

And now to the building that stole my heart : itoya , the interior design, the windows, the everything.. Sigh

These are ordinary pilot pens btw

THEY SELL THEIR STATIONARY LIKE THIS GUYS.
I have never seen more beautiful paper in my life, i could pass out.

Went slightly late to asakusa and everything was closing.

My FAVOURITE ice cream is dirt cheap guys. *heavy breathing*.

Japan has taken my breath away, everything is so fresh and exciting, the weather is decent, sure it gets hot but the breeze is cool. They have weird things here and there and it's very exciting and all very visually appealing. Haha I'm still very excited by everything today even though it's just like normal stuff.

More adventures tomorrow ~

Been laaaaaaazy Im sorry.. Pretty sure I'll update everyday in Japan because I want to remember (:

Anyway here's what I've been up to :

1) went to the zoo with the zoo keeper

Or ex zoo keeper

Humans are here !! Don't take my food.

I only took derpy pictures hahaha
Well I had a good time, no figuring out where to go, checking the map or whatever, just followed the zoo keeper. I wanted to see a sloth but I didn't get to see one -.- I went into the fragile forest and faced the butterflies for naught. I was totally cowering behind nic's back..

2) killing my legs with Robin

Basically two hours of intense cycling at east coast park with flapz. It was AWESOME because I really wanted to cycle but then I thought he might think I was insane if I said I wanted to go cycling at East coast but in the end he somehow suggested what I wanted and there we have it. He actually planned the whole day out, we had good food and a good cycle sesh - and he actually picked me up ( he lives in Bishan ) and also sent me home from bishan - thank you God for amazing friends. ( hello no we are not dating ah .. Flapz has a girlfriend )

3) VOMG

Well it's year 2 of VOMG ! And this year, apart from being the designer and part of the comittee, I was also the video host and the emcee for the finals. Well if you're curious as to what VOMG is you can visit : vomg.sg haha but I'm really proud of how far we have come after three years of hard work and weekly meetings. The bands this year were so good and we've also managed to get the support of the national arts council. Here's to more VOMG in the future- I totally wish there was a vomg during my time in jc. This would also be the first time I emcee-ed for anything at all, and it went really well - another tiny accomplishment in life hahah - not a great feat but I think I'm proud of myself for taking up this challenge.

Oh well that's it for now.

Have fun in Taiwan vivi <3
