“Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.”

Marcus Aurelius

Ky will make your day

Love this baby derp. <3

Have been wanting to blog abit here and there but haven't had the time. Been thinking about P a lot lately these days, missing the fun times we had in the past. But I also know I can't take back what she's done and I don't think theres any way to patch anything up. I hope she's doing well.

On a more positive note, school has begun, with the past two weeks being one of intensive research- my brain HAHA .. I am kind of enjoying where I think the projects are going tho ? ( might be too early for me to say, but generally I'm also still somewhat in a holiday mood - all those withdrawal symptoms )

Cooked for the parents today. Whilst I was buying groceries, I met a few people who made my day. Simple acts of kindness from a man who saw me struggling to tear off a plastic bag with my arms full rushed over just to help me tear it, and an auntie who saw me staring at the brocolli taught me how to choose nice brocollis. Just a small gesture but it made my day.

So I think I wanna strive to make other people's day too.

Always believe in yourself. Do that and no matter where you are, you will have nothing to fear.

I'll have a lot of pictures to blog when I give out my presents haha because that's all I've been doing of late. But for now I have to be patient ( which I'm not very good at to be honest ).

Sometimes design is about the way you organize things.

Happy last holiday

Recording and shooting in school earlier today with a new friend ! Turned out pretty well I think.
Crazy food party at jonas' house with adm student council and the clique where we all cooked sooooo much food, it was crazy.

Last minute painting done on the spot for a backdrop for Audrey's 21st birthday party.

Back to school at 9 am tomorrow. Goodness gracious. A little bit sad that my holidays are over, but it's been a very happy one. Feeling extremely fulfilled working on whatever I wanted, lazing around as much as I wanted, and camp of course, was amazing. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you God for everything.

G4-ever

First outing to East coast park this midweek with the classmates in what has been an extremely long time.

Current "usual" arm candy.

Cheers to the sky- beer, fries, calamari, apple cider, iced lattes at Mana Mana beach club around east coast lagoon. Surprisingly decently priced, happy hour $20 for a jug of beer right by the sea. Not to mention fantabulous service. Definitely coming back here if I ever go back to east coast park.
Was commenting about how people actually look good with this thing on their head but I think I just look stupid - this polka dotted one I'm wearing isn't mine btw, it belongs to Mar

Ky, Mar, sherri, Jo, Mer, Law ( missing out Nad who had to leave before I came )

Skater kids. - learnt how to skate in between tutorials when mar and I would always leave when we get bored to go to her locker to get the board and skate around for about 10 minutes before returning to class. ( ESPECIALLY IN TYPE CLASS HAHA )

Random sights- haha and people wonder why I have 9000+ photos in my phone.

Again today felt like I was out of Singapore- a feeling which I like, not because I hate singapore but because I think it's wonderful to be able to feel like I'm on a "getaway" for a little while yet not having to spend a bomb just to achieve it.

Belly belly happy today. Don't really know what else I can say haha except that today wasn't just a good day but in fact a great day and that I truly thank God for beautiful happy days like this one.

Here's to many more happy days to come ! Have a great remaining rest of the week guys ! (: ( whoever who even reads this )

Crazy kids

Joel wanted to visit coastal settlement, and I too, have wanted to go there for the longest time, so today the other bimz and I were lucky enough Joel got the car and we drove down togetherrrrr.
We ordered 4 cups of plain water but ended up with 9. Including mel's vanilla latte and fries' hazelnut latte, the utensils cup and the serviettes cup, we had 13 cups on a table for 4- it really cracked us up and we continuously laughed about it.
Pepperoni pizza was pretty yumz - cheesy and juicy. Despite having a preference for thick crusted pizzas vs. thin and crispy, I have to say the pizza at coastal settlement was really really good.
(From left to right) bimbimbap, fries, ky, joel.

Coastal settlement located someplace far and deep, no idea where exactly (this is what google is for) is a very spacious cafe, filled with antiques both around the cafe, as well as inside the cafe- old telephones, furniture and even quite a number of antique cars. Felt like I wasn't in Singapore for the few hours we were there, the cafe is dimly lit (but super cosy) and has large windows facing this foresty patch - which I really liked, as compared to the usual urban stuff you see all the time. Which I guess was part of the reason why I felt like I was out of Singapore.

Spent the entire day out with the "popular" kids- shopping with them at ikea for hall stuff and ended our day at the trick eye musuem which Joel got us a really good discount on ($8 vs. regular pricey $25). Had fun because of the company but the trick art was pretty much similar to what I saw in jeju-do.

Pictures next time because Joel stole my camera's SD card haha.
